Cavtat picture gallery
Cavtat was the Epidaurus of ancient Greece and is situated about 15km from Dubrovnik on a small picturesque peninsular covered with Mediterranean vegetation. Few places offer such a combination of lush Mediterranean growth, crystal clear sea and old and new architecture. Cavtat has a rich cultural and historical tradition including the Rectors Palace, the Baroque church of St Nicolas, the Bukvac art gallery and the Racic mausoleum. The beautiful seafront winds for 7 km through a pine forest and culminates in the pretty little harbour port which is lined with attractive bars, coffee shops and friendly restaurants.
