offer you our Redundancy and Recession PROMISE:
If you
have to cancel a holiday that you have paid for in full –
for whatever reason – WE WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY.
That’s
right – WE PROMISE that you will not lose the money you have
paid for a holiday you cannot take.
Also,
unlike the big tour operators who require proof of redundancy
(and will make you wait for weeks) before they will offer a
refund, we will refund your money* directly into your account on
the day you make your situation known, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
* Excludes
non-refundable deposits.
PROTECT YOURSELF
Please
check your travel insurance carefully.
In 2008
thousands of travellers were stranded by the airline going out
of business whilst they were on holiday. ATOL rules don’t apply
for flight only bookings.
Did you
know that if airlines fail for any reason, including the
recession, then flights paid for using a Debit Card would not be
refunded? (If you book your flight using a credit card then
there is some protection if you have spent over £100, but you
must claim within 60 days).
There is a
little known Scheduled Airline Failure insurance policy that you
can buy (included as standard in travel insurance bought from
the Post Office) that will guarantee a refund of the cost of
your flight if the airline should close, provided you have
bought your ticket more than 2 weeks in advance of the airline
going out of business! Please make sure your insurance includes
this element.
